First Minister Nicola Sturgeon Visit

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon visited Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce on 22 August to discuss the challenges facing businesses in the North-east.

Leaders drawn from a wide cross-section of the AGCC membership, including our Chief Executive Helen Gauld, shared their concerns around the rising cost of energy, a tight labour market, supply chain issues, falling high street footfall and soaring inflation.

She heard from several firms that significant intervention is going to be required to help firms get through the winter.
